A special poem

Whilst looking for a photo of Jo with CJ to add to the story about her pets, I came across this poem in a box of "special things". This poem obviously meant a lot to Jo and while reading it I remembered that a bit of it had been put onto Jo's page by the CF Trust when we setup Jo's memorial. I found this a bit spooky but was also very touched by it.

"Death is nothing at all.I have only slipped away into the next room.I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, we still are. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way you always used.Put no difference in your tone. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me,pray for me. Let my name be the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort, without a a trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it ever meant. Why should I be out of mind just because I am out of sight. I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.
